Job summary

Fireworks AI in the United States is seeking a Privacy Program Engineer to own the technical core of our privacy program. You’ll write scripts, queries, and automation for data subject requests, data inventory, and retention controls, aligning with GDPR and CCPA programs.

You’ll report to the Privacy Lead and drive the design of the automation that touches production systems. This role requires hands-on privacy operations, strong coding ability, and a track record of end-to-end project

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in privacy, GRC, IT audit, information security, or related field with hands-on privacy work.
• Hands-on with GDPR/CCPA/CPRA and ISO 27701, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, and NIST familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Build the privacy automation layer: scripts, scheduled jobs, API integrations, and LLM‑based agents handling routing, evidence collection, intake, and monitoring.
• Own the DSR program and system: intake, identity verification, fan-out across data stores, and automated fulfillment tracking.
