What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging laws and regulations related to privacy and health insurance
- Develop and report monthly compliance updates for stakeholders regarding privacy and data security
- Assist in creating privacy-related legal impact assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Help develop and deliver privacy training programs and updates to policies and procedures
- Manage project trackers and follow-up reports related to privacy and supplemental health insurance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in privacy and health insurance
- Associate's degree required or Paralegal Certificate; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience using SharePoint is required
- Familiarity with legal databases such as Bloomberg and LexisNexis for research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) required
