Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal / Legal Assistant with demonstrable experience in cybersecurity , FedRAMP , and/or DOD DISA Impact Level compliance . The ideal candidate will support our internal legal, privacy, and compliance operations by drafting and maintaining regulatory documentation, supporting contract workflows, managing templates, and assisting with security-related disclosures and audit prep. This is a part-time, fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, and manage legal documentation related to:
• FedRAMP boundary changes and Significant Change Requests (SCRs)
• Vendor security questionnaires and client compliance addendums
• Assist with contract reviews for SaaS customer agreements, NDAs, and subcontractor terms.
• Help maintain and update Knox's legal document repository (NDA, MSA, DPA templates)
• Support legal prep for third-party audits and assessments (3PAO, agency ATOs, etc.)
• Help track regulatory updates (e.g., FedRAMP Rev 5, DISA STIG changes, NIST 800-53, TX-RAMP) and their impact on Knox documentation and posture
• Coordinate signature routing and filing via DocuSign.
• Assist with FOIA response preparation or public disclosure document support when needed
• Initiate, manage, and maintain membership applications, renewals, and compliance documentation for government programs, industry associations, and nonprofit consortia (e.g., CSP-AB, CISA, ACT-IAC, public sector working groups)

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant , preferably in a tech, SaaS, or compliance-heavy environment
• Deep familiarity with FedRAMP , DISA IL4 , NIST 800-53 , and cybersecurity legal frameworks
• Experience supporting regulatory, security, or compliance teams
• Excellent organizational, research, and written communication skills
• Able to work independently, proactively manage multitasking, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting early-stage SaaS companies or working in GovTech
• Familiarity with tools like DocuSign , Google Workspace , Trello/Asana , and Confluence
• Background in privacy frameworks (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, AI governance) is a plus
