The Opportunity

Our client, a leading organization in the retail industry, is seeking a detail‑oriented Compliance Privacy Project Analyst to provide administrative and operational support to a global Privacy team. This role is ideal for a legal administration, compliance, or privacy‑support professional interested in developing a long‑term career in privacy operations.

The Compliance Privacy Project Analyst will help coordinate privacy operations across multiple regions, supporting data subject requests, shared mailbox communications, documentation management, and broader privacy and data‑protection initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the intake, tracking, and timely coordination of global data subject requests, including access and deletion requests.
• Monitor shared privacy mailboxes, respond to internal and external inquiries using approved templates, and escalatea when appropriate.
• Coordinate request responses with cross-functional partners, including Human Resources, Customer Service, Legal, Risk, and Information Security teams.
• Review and redact documentation in accordance with established data subject request standards before final production.
• Maintain accurate request details, deadlines, status updates, and supporting documentation in internal systems.
• Update standard operating procedures, communication templates, and knowledge‑base materials.
• Support privacy and data‑protection projects through research, stakeholder coordination, issue tracking, and progress reporting.
• Attend periodic meetings on behalf of the Privacy team and document issues, decisions, and follow‑up actions.
• Monitor privacy, data‑protection, and compliance developments and help assess potential business impacts.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in legal administration, legal operations, compliance support, or a related function.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage sensitive communications professionally.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, deadline-management, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Sound judgment and a practical, risk‑based approach to evaluating and escalating requests.
• Ability to handle confidential information and build productive relationships across functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting privacy, data protection, legal, risk, or compliance programs.
• Working knowledge of privacy or data‑protection laws and regulations.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar case‑management platform.

Additional Details

This is a coordinator‑focused role rather than a senior analytical position. Privacy subject‑matter training and resources will be provided. The interview process includes two rounds, with an anticipated shortlist of approximately 15 candidates for review.
