Job summary

Qualifications

• Over 6 months of healthcare call center experience; prior authorizations exposure preferred.
• Active National PTCB and/or State Board of Pharmacy Technician Licensure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and general PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Process prior authorization requests for prescription medications with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Answer inbound calls from providers, members and pharmacies (80–100 per day) with professionalism.
• Gather and verify clinical information to support coverage determinations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to support timely access to medications and positive patient outcomes.
