Job summary

Insight Global is seeking Prior Authorization Certified Pharmacy Technicians to work fully remote in support of a large healthcare client. You will assist patients by removing barriers to medication access and facilitating approvals through prior authorizations.

You will navigate pharmacy systems to adjudicate claims, assist with financial assistance options, and coordinate with doctors and pharmacists to improve access and adherence. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain prior approvals for medications.
• Navigate pharmacy systems to input data and adjudicate test claims.
• Document patient concerns and authorization statuses across databases and EMR systems.

• Assist patients with financial assistance options and co-pay support.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and liaisons to improve patient care pathways.
• Provide patient phone support for medication adherence and guidance.
