The role involves collecting clinical documentation, verifying insurance requirements, and submitting prior authorization requests under the guidance of Providers and RN staff. The MA will perform clerical and clinical tasks, administer medications and immunizations as directed, and maintain accurate medical records with attention to detail and clear communication

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program or 3 years MA experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to gather and submit prior authorization documentation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care in person, by phone, and via telehealth under supervision.
• Handles administration of prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations within scope of practice.
• Collects health information and communicates findings to Providers.
