Job summary

Nashua Dermatology Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to support biologic prior authorizations, gathering clinical documentation, verifying insurer requirements, and submitting requests under Provider supervision.

You will communicate with providers, pharmacies, and patients to secure timely approvals, maintain organized tracking, and escalate delays as needed. A Medical Assistant program or 3 years MA experience, and BLS/CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Care of patients in person, by phone, and telehealth under Provider supervision.
• Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, point-of-care testing, and specimen handling.
• Collect and screen patient history and health information; communicate findings to Providers.
• Communicate Provider instructions and plan of care to patients.
• Document care in the medical record with accuracy and detail.
