Job summary

Foundation Medical Partners — Nashua Dermatology Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant for a part-time, per diem role in Nashua, NH. The MA will support providers and RNs, perform point-of-care testing, administer medications and immunizations as allowed, and document clinical activity in the chart.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant program or 3 years MA experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. Flexible shifts, health benefits available, and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience of 3 years as an MA.
• Certifications: Current BLS/CPR training.
• One year experience in a medical practice of healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care in person, over the phone, and via telehealth under supervision.
• Administers prescribed medications, treatments and immunizations as allowed.
• Performs point-of-care testing and specimen collection/handling.
• Collects and screens patient history, communicates findings to the provider.
• Documents care activities in the medical record with accuracy and detail.
