Job summary

Cartamundi is seeking a Printing Supervisor in Erlanger, KY to oversee 46 hourly workers across sheetfed, die-cutting/embossing, folding and gluing, and KEM playing card converting areas. You will drive safety, quality, cost, and productivity while ensuring on-time delivery and production targets are met.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field, strong Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM knowledge, and leadership experience coaching others. On-site position with growth in a global printing leader.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Operations Management, Organizational Leadership and/or Engineering.
• Working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing/Toyota Production System.
• Working knowledge in Six Sigma methodologies and Total Quality Management Systems; demonstrated leadership coaching.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 46 hourly personnel in sheetfed, die-cutting/embossing, folding and gluing, and KEM playing card converting across shifts.
• Drive safety, quality, cost, productivity, throughput, and delivery metrics; meet the production schedule.
• Lead staffing decisions, coordinate with Scheduling and Sales to maintain on-time delivery (>99%).
• Use SAP and Microsoft Office to record production information and troubleshoot issues.
