Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a dedicated Press Operator / Setup professional for Plainwell, MI to operate manufacturing presses and perform setup/changeovers. You will read blueprints, follow work orders, and ensure parts meet specifications in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include in-process quality checks with calipers and micrometers, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and complying with safety

Qualifications

• Experience as press operator / setup preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor presses to produce parts per specifications.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures, including tooling adjustments and material loading.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using calipers and micrometers, and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints, work orders and production schedules to ensure accurate output.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols.
