Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Press Operator / Setup in Wayland, MI. This role centers on setting up, adjusting, and operating presses to meet specifications while maintaining safety and schedules.

You will load/unload material, perform routine maintenance, and conduct in-process quality checks. Ideal applicants have hands-on experience with flexographic, digital, or offset presses, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read job specs and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up printing presses (flexographic, digital, offset).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Ability to read specifications, blueprints, and production orders.
• In-process quality checks and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate presses per job specs.
• Monitor machine operation and production schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot issues related to press operation and quality.
• Load materials and unload finished products with correct handling.
