Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Pressman to run printing presses efficiently and safely, ensuring high-quality printed sheets with accurate color and register.

The role requires mechanical/technical aptitude, basic math, and English fluency. You will support SQF procedures, maintain records, and collaborate with the second pressman and feeder to keep lines productive and safe.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude.
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English. Must have basic math skills.
• Must have Feeder/Operator and Second Pressman experience.

Responsibilities

• Quality checks on printed sheets for color, registration, and marks.
• Diagnose causes of problems and adjust press to correct errors.
• Move pallets, record production data, and manage materials.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Use ColorMeasure to track color within spec.
• Lead and train second pressman and feeder; perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform press make-ready for new jobs.
