Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking an entry-level Press - 1st/2nd Operator helper to run printing presses and maintain quality. You will assist with make-readies, color checks, and routine maintenance to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic math and the ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends. English literacy is essential and prior experience with a printing press is a plus.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must have Feeder/Operator experience.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English. Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Press-1st Operator to maintain print quality.
• Help diagnose printing issues and adjust press.
• Assist in press maintenance and setup for new jobs.
• Support crewmembers in press-make readies and cleaning tasks.
• Fill ink fountains, replace plates, and ensure press runs smoothly.
