Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Printing Press Assistant for the Printing Department to support daily operations in a manufacturing setting. You will follow quality requirements, prepare for orders, and package finished rolls, while ensuring proper viscosities and PH documentation.

Responsibilities include handling ink per spec sheets, using forklifts for transport, and filling in for the Press Operator when needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Shift

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.
  

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
