Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a skilled Press Operator for our Hartford, WI facility. You will operate printing presses, ensure designs match job jackets, and maintain quality from setup to finish.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance. Wage ranges and shift differentials are noted, with full-time benefits and growth opportunities within a leading global packaging company.

Qualifications

• Prior operation of same or similar equipment preferred.
• Shift formats (12 hours, days, nights) with OT based on business need.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing press.
• Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.
• Responsible for print sample retention.
• Notifies Supervisor/Lead Person or Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities.
• Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work in-process and/or finished product.
• Ensure raw materials have been approved for use.
• Ensure all bench top test and measuring equipment being used are properly calibrated.
• Identification and control of Non-conforming material.
• Set-up and Clean-up machine.
• Follow all applicable instructions relative to food safety and the SQF Food Safety Management System, including Employee GMP’s.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with the authority to initiate actions.

Hours

• B shift l Monday-Thursday l 6pm -6am

Wage

• Press wages generally range from $24 - $33+/hour (based on relevant experience)
• $2/hour shift differential for B-Shift

Essential Duties

• Operate printing press
• Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.

Qualifications, Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior operation of same or similar equipment preferred.
• Climbing Stairs, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling and Squatting. Walking or standing on concrete floors for most of shift. Lifting is minimal, occasionally up to 70 lbs. Exposure to inks coatings, and solvents. Good and reliable attendance.
• Shift formats (12 hours, days, nights) with OT based on business need.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
