Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin is hiring a Printing Press Assistant to support production lines in a climate-controlled environment. You’ll follow quality requirements, prepare for orders, wrap finished rolls, monitor inks and viscosity, and assist with forklift transport.

• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.

• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.
• All other duties as assigned

Printing Press Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Shift:

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands:

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus as well as ability to see appropriate colors.

Work Environment:

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
• May be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, inks, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.
