Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin manufactures flexible packaging and seeks a Printing Press Assistant to support the Printing Department. The role requires following quality standards, preparing for orders, and wrapping finished rolls.

You will monitor viscosities, handle ink dispersion, and transport products using forklifts. The position offers a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift schedule, with time-and-a-half on weekends, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career development within a growing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator when necessary.

Your Role: Printing Press Assistant - Printing Department:

Shift:

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
