Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Printing Press Assistant for the Printing Department. The role supports quality, prepares orders, wraps finished rolls, and uses forklifts to move product. You may step in as Press Operator as needed.

The position offers a climate-controlled environment, rotating 12-hour shifts (2-2-3), and competitive benefits. Prior printing equipment experience is a plus, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience with printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.

Your Role: Printing Press Assistant - Printing Department:

Shift:

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
