Job summary

ProAmpac is a global leader in flexible packaging seeking a Printing Press Assistant to support the Printing Department. You will follow quality requirements, prepare for orders, package finished rolls, and monitor process parameters, including viscosities and PH forms.

Responsibilities include locating ink per spec sheets, dispersing as needed, and operating forklift/clamp trucks to move products. You may fill in for the Press Operator when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with printing equipment a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Your Role: Printing Press Assistant - Printing Department:

Shift:

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
