Job summary

ProAmpac is a global leader in flexible packaging, seeking a Printing Press Assistant for the Printing Department in Wisconsin. You will support the printing team by preparing orders, handling finished rolls, dispersing ink, and monitoring viscosities.

Forklift operation and potential coverage for the Press Operator are required. This role offers a stable manufacturing environment with 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shifts and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and math skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude are essential.
• Previous experience with printing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.

Your Role: Printing Press Assistant - Printing Department:

Shift:

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
