Job summary

The State of California, Department of General Services, seeks a Printing Plant Superintendent to oversee the Electronic Prepress and Design Unit and manage all related services for the Office of State Publishing. This permanent, full-time role operates on a standard 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, in-office with telework limited to on-site duties.

Salary ranges from $7,530.00 to $9,355.00 per month. Final filing date is 10/27/2026.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Aptitude for machine operations preferred.
• Interpersonal and team collaboration skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Electronic Prepress and Design Unit and manage all electronic prepress, editing and design services for the Office of State Publishing.
• Work under the general direction of the Program Manager, Print Services, to ensure efficient production workflows.
