Sacramento County is seeking a Senior Printing Services Operator to lead reprographic operations, balancing workload and ensuring that supervisor instructions are met. You will supervise, assign tasks, and manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires handling offset and digital printing workflows, maintaining equipment, and training staff while delivering quality documents to county departments. This is a full-time on-site position with strong teamwork and safety emphasis.
Monthly salary range: $4,802.42 - $5,837.67

Positions in this series operate a variety of printing, reproduction and related equipment to provide reproduced documents to County departments and special districts.
Senior Printing Services Operator is the lead level in the series. Incumbents distribute and balance the workload among employees; check on status and progress of work, and review completion of work to see that the supervisor’s instructions have been met. Incumbents perform a variety of difficult and complex reproduction assignments.
Either 1. One year experience as a Printing Services Operator (Level II) in Sacramento County service.
Or 2. Three years total experience including two years in offset printing processes and one year computer document reproduction.
Note: If the word "experience" is referenced in the minimum qualifications, it means full-time paid experience unless the minimum qualification states that volunteer experience is acceptable. Part-time paid experience may be accumulated and pro-rated to meet the total experience requirements.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 80 lbs. and stand for a long duration.
Driver License: Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License, Class C or higher.
Note: (1) Failure to maintain a valid California Driver’s License, Class C or higher constitutes cause for termination from the class in accordance with Civil Service Rule 11.4.
The probationary period for this classification is s ix (6) months
