Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is a leading engineering partner supporting aerospace, medical devices, robotics, automotive, and more. Based in Mobile, AL, the team provides IT and field support across North America, focusing on complex printer environments and end-user devices.

As a onsite IT Support professional, you’ll deploy, configure, troubleshoot printers, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues rapidly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT Support, Desktop Support, or Field Support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting printers, end‑user devices, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Prior experience supporting large printer fleets.
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT support processes.

Responsibilities

• Support approximately 200 printers across an aerospace manufacturing site and assist with the broader North America printer environment.
• Perform printer deployments, installations, configurations, and replacements.
• Troubleshoot printer hardware, connectivity, and user‑related issues.
• Provide Level 1 / Level 2 support and escalation complex issues to Xerox Level 3 support when necessary.
• Support end users across Line 1, Line 2, and associated facilities.
• Coordinate directly with Airbus stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Maintain asset and support documentation as required.
