Job summary

AD Solutions is seeking a Printer Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain advanced office technology within a designated service area. You will provide hands-on technical support and build strong relationships with customers to keep equipment running at peak performance.

With 3–5+ years of field service experience, you will troubleshoot networked copiers, scanners, printers and related devices, perform preventive maintenance, and document repairs.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing copier equipment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with a passion for problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently in the field while staying connected to the larger support team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with digital networked copiers, scanners, printers, wide-format devices, and fax machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on color and black-and-white office equipment.
• Utilize company systems to manage service call tickets, update part usage, and document repairs efficiently.
• Adhere to proper troubleshooting procedures, including firmware updates, part replacement, and maintenance intervals.
• Use software on a company-issued mobile device to receive and close repair tickets.
• Provide exceptional customer service, offering clear and professional updates on repair status.
• Maintain a well-stocked service vehicle with the necessary tools, parts, and inventory.
• Stay current on new and legacy equipment enhancements through tech manuals, online learning, and manufacturer training resources.
