Job summary

Quad is seeking a Print Sourcing Specialist to coordinate print projects from request through delivery, aligning specifications with approved suppliers and providing cost-effective quotations. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.

The role emphasizes organized project management, communication, and process improvement in a dynamic marketing and production environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Printing, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in print production, print purchasing, sourcing support, project coordination, or related operational roles.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned print and related sourcing projects from initiation through delivery using established processes and procedures.
• Coordinate project schedules, production milestones, and supplier activities to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor project status and communicate updates to internal teams and clients.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, purchase orders, and production records.
• Support billing reconciliation and project closeout activities.
• Review project specifications for completeness prior to requesting supplier quotations.
• Solicit quotations from approved suppliers following established sourcing guidelines.
• Compare supplier pricing, capabilities, and delivery options and provide recommendations to management or senior team members.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain supplier documentation.
• Assist in resolving supplier issues related to production, quality, or delivery.
• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned projects.
