Job summary

Tops-Products seeks a capable first-line supervisor responsible for directing non-exempt staff in print production, bindery finishing, and shipping/receiving operations. You will review schedules, allocate materials and manpower, and coordinate with support groups to ensure on-time output and quality.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a proactive approach to solving production challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years demonstrated leadership experience required. Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• Requires flexible, proactive, self-starter with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Demonstrated effective communication, coaching and interpersonal skills required.
• This includes the ability to influence across many levels of the organization and successfully lead others through change.
• Demonstrated willingness to hold self and others accountable for individual and team business results and behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Directs non-exempt employees in print production, bindery finishing, or shipping/receiving operations.
• Reviews production schedules and resources; assigns staff to maximize output and quality.
• Informs staff of production issues and coordinates with support groups to resolve schedule problems.
• Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes.
