Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Print shop experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret a job ticket.
• Ability to read a ruler and pass a ruler test.
• Color vision and the ability to pass an eye test.
• Ability to input data into a computer.
• Team-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and safety policies.
• Attains and maintains defined job objectives for planning and execution of all jobs and quick changes.
• Assist in external make-ready operations during label changeovers.
• Assist in post-changeover cleanup activities.
• Clean ink pans and ancillary equipment.
• Strips plates from cylinders.
• Locates dies to and from press.
• May view labels with assistance of strobe light.
• Comply with quality assurance specifications of the customer and MCC.
• May complete quality assurance sheet and documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and workspace.
• Work overtime when needed and as assigned.
• Related duties as assigned.
