Job summary

RRD is seeking an experienced Engineering Project/Process Manager to lead printing, packaging and prepress workflows and establish enterprise color management across the production platform. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Industrial, or Manufacturing Management.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in engineering/project management.
• Proven track record of managing complex cross-departmental technical projects, software upgrades, and multi-site implementations.
• Experience evaluating, negotiating, and managing third-party vendor contracts and capital equipment procurement.
• Able to execute capital projects by managing groups of employees, equipment manufacturers, and other suppliers both remotely and onsite.
• Experience estimating, capability analysis and implementation of equipment additions and improvements.
• Develop, utilize and update complex spreadsheets and project management tools to track assets and replacement plans.
• Create detailed models and testing protocols to compare new equipment technologies.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and respond quickly to manufacturing needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships across printing, packaging and prepress equipment and facilities.
• Lead technical evaluations and project delivery for capital equipment and software purchases.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Quality Assurance and Procurement to align investments with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end planning and implementation of technical prepress and color management projects.
• Oversee workflow upgrades, system migrations, and enterprise-wide technology rollouts with minimal disruption.
• Develop and optimize prepress automation.
