Job summary

RRD is a global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. The role focuses on preparing electronic files for plate making, adjusting layouts for precise paper dimensions, and coordinating with teams to resolve issues while ensuring high-quality pre-press output.

Candidates should be proficient with Mac/PC design tools, understand PDF/TIFF/EPS formats, and have basic color management and offset printing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design and layout software on Mac and PC.
• Strong understanding of digital file formats (PDF, TIFF, EPS).
• Basic color management skills and ability to adapt to different formats.
• Understand offset printing and color interactions.

Responsibilities

• Review client files for completeness before plate making.
• Manipulate print job layouts to paper dimensions using desktop publishing software.
• Determine layout including folds, trims, bleeds, and crop marks; add color bars as needed.
• Identify missing or problematic components and communicate with Customer Service and production teams.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, clients, and production to resolve issues.
