Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with strong experience in commercial print production to develop accurate cost estimates and production plans based on client specs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in estimating for printing and mailing, familiarity with kitting and large format, and proficiency with EFI Monarch or PrintStream is a plus. You will collaborate across departments to optimize pricing and production flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in a commercial printing and mailing environment.
• Experience estimating for kitting and large format.
• Ability to follow standards and specifications created for our estimating system which allows us to create the best possible suggested sell price for our clients.
• Experience with EFI products such as Monarch and Printstream a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quote to sales by utilizing the estimating system and estimating/production standards.
• Recommend alternative production processes to achieve production efficiencies.
• Review and recommend new estimating standards based on actual results.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job description

We're looking for a detail-oriented estimator with commercial print industry experience. The successful candidate will understand print production methods, paper and substrate specifications, finishing operations, mailing requirements, and pricing strategies to develop accurate, competitive estimates.

SUMMARY

Responsible for providing an accurate cost of production and reasonable production plan based on sales supplied job specifications. The Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager and will work closely with all areas of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide a quote to sales by utilizing the estimating system and estimating/production standards.
• Recommend alternative production processes to achieve production efficiencies.
• Review and recommend new estimating standards based on actual results.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.
