Job summary

ENPOINTE in Brooklyn Park is seeking an Experienced Print Estimator to deliver accurate production cost estimates for commercial print projects. You will work closely with sales and production teams to quote specs, substrates, finishes, and mailing requirements.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in commercial printing estimation, knowledge of kitting and large format, and familiarity with EFI Monarch or Printstream.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in a commercial printing and mailing environment.
• Experience estimating for kitting and large format.
• Experience with EFI Monarch and Printstream a plus.

Responsibilities

Experienced Print Estimator Wanted

Location: On-site in Brooklyn Park

We're looking for a detail-oriented estimator with commercial print industry experience. The successful candidate will understand print production methods, paper and substrate specifications, finishing operations, mailing requirements, and pricing strategies to develop accurate, competitive estimates.

Summary

Responsible for providing an accurate cost of production and reasonable production plan based on sales supplied job specifications. The Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager and will work closely with all areas of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Provide a quote to sales by utilizing the estimating system and estimating/production standards.

• Experience estimating for kitting and large format.
• Ability to follow standards and specifications created for our estimating system which allows us to create the best possible suggested sell price for our clients.
• Experience with EFI products such as Monarch and Printstream a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Constant strong communication, sitting, and working on a computer.
• Frequent walking & standing.
• Occasional lifting 20+lbs, pulling, pushing, bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, climbing stairs.
• Occasional: Occupation requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5 hrs./day of 8-hour day)
• Frequent: Occupation requires this activity from 33%-66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs./day of hour 8-hour day)
• Constant: Occupation requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs./day of 8-hour day)

Annual Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
