Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal or Sr Principal Systems Administrator – Workflow Engineer to sustain mission‑critical workflows in Aurora, CO. The role combines Windows/Linux administration with Atlassian tools and containerized services in a high‑security, high‑availability environment.

The ideal candidate will configure Kubernetes clusters, manage IPA/Active Directory access, and develop automation scripts in Bash/Python. A TS clearance and Security+ certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance required at application time.
• Hands-on experience administering and configuring Atlassian tools.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Windows and Linux administration with IPA/AD integration.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and harden Windows and Linux servers for mission‑critical apps.
• Configure and optimize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for workflows.
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage identity services using IPA and Active Directory for secure access.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline patching and workflow execution.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and maintain runbooks with thorough documentation.
