Job summary

Northrop Grumman—Xetron, Cincinnati, seeks cleared Sr. Principal Software Engineers to lead a team building cloud-based, full-stack mission applications. You will own architecture and design of decision-support systems and analytics, and develop microservices, APIs, and data pipelines that turn disparate data into insights.

The role requires strong full-stack skills and experience with cloud architectures, containers, and CI/CD. Top-Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or related field) with 2+ years programming; MS/PhD with related experience.
• Experience with Python, C, or C++ and integration of commercial software.
• Proven full software lifecycle experience including operations/maintenance; team lead experience; TS clearance; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers on cloud-based, full-stack mission applications.
• Architect and design advanced decision-support systems and analytic services.
• Build microservices, APIs, and data pipelines turning data into actionable insight.
• Develop web interfaces integrated with backend processes and databases.
• Work with cloud services, containers, CI/CD in a real-world environment.
