Job summary
BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a Principal UX Designer to define and lead the experience strategy for its agentic AI initiative across enterprise products.
This hands-on leadership role sits at the intersection of enterprise UX, AI, and product innovation, guiding how users interact with autonomous agents in complex workflows. You will partner with product, engineering, AI, and research teams to translate AI capabilities into clear, trusted experiences for customers running mission-critical
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI/UX, Interaction Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of product or UX design in complex enterprise products, IT, cloud, data, or cybersecurity.
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end experience design and measurable impact.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive end-to-end UX strategy for agentic AI across enterprise products.
- Design interaction patterns for human‑agent collaboration including trust and explainability.
- Lead cross-functional teams across product, AI, research, and engineering.
- Prototype and validate AI workflows and agent behaviors with users.
- Mentor designers and establish reusable agentic UX patterns.
