Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a seasoned UX Designer based in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end design efforts across product teams, shaping the customer experience vision, and creating user-centered designs across digital channels.

To qualify, you should have over 7 years of UX design experience, a strong portfolio, and preferably a Bachelor’s in a relevant field. This role requires expertise in a variety of UX disciplines and the ability to influence stakeholders while mentoring junior designers.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design efforts across multiple product teams with minimal supervision.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to shape product strategy and customer experience vision.
• Create user-centered designs for web, mobile, and other digital channels.
• Leverage user research, data insights, and feedback to inform design decisions.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, workflows, information architecture, and interaction designs.
• Drive consistency through design systems, reusable patterns, and scalable design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Facilitate design workshops, reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
• Mentor and coach junior designers while contributing to the overall UX culture and design maturity.
• Provide thought leadership on UX best practices, innovation, and emerging trends.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX design or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Interactive Design, Human Factors, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Experience designing and delivering digital products within Agile environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and successful product outcomes.
• Experience leveraging user research and data to drive design decisions.
