Mural is seeking a Principal, User Researcher to establish and scale a user research practice that informs product strategy and long-term vision. You will lead foundational studies, partner with product, design, sales, and strategy, and mentor teams to elevate research discipline across the company.

You will work in a remote U.S. setting, shaping insights that guide key product decisions and future collaboration experiences for global teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UX Research experience across qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Proven track record leading foundational and strategic research influencing product direction.
• Ability to design and execute mixed-methods research independently.
• Scale strategic insights through storytelling, synthesis, and frameworks.
• Strong communication with executives and hands-on teams.
• Experience shaping and scaling research practices in growing organizations.

Responsabilités

• Lead mixed-methods research across product areas to uncover user needs and motivations.
• Drive foundational studies on collaboration, hybrid and distributed work.
• Design and execute large-scale studies combining depth and rigor.
• Mentor designers and partners to scale research best practices.
• Present insights to executives and cross-functional teams with strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Market Research to integrate insights into narratives.
