Mural is seeking a Principal, User Researcher to establish a UX research practice and lead foundational and strategic studies that shape our next generation of experiences. You will partner across product, design, sales, marketing, and strategy to identify opportunities, clarify user needs, and steer long-term innovation.

This is primarily an individual-contributor role with mentoring responsibilities. You will translate ambiguous questions into learning plans, create artifacts like archetypes

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UX Research experience with qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience leading foundational and strategic research influencing product direction.
• Ability to design and execute mixed-methods research independently.

Responsabilités

• Lead mixed-methods research exploring user needs, behaviors and motivations across product areas.
• Drive foundational studies revealing collaboration barriers in hybrid and distributed work.
• Design and execute medium to large-scale studies with qualitative depth and quantitative rigor.
• Develop archetypes, frameworks, and journey maps to communicate insights across the company.
