Amentum seeks a UC Consulting Engineer - Principal to design, implement, and optimize Unified Communications solutions across client networks, using CUCM, Unity, and Webex to deliver integrated voice, video, and data services. You will lead design efforts and mentor engineers while coordinating with network and security teams.

The role requires active Top-Secret clearance with SCI, 12+ years of experience, CCIE Collaboration (or equivalent) and travel up to 5–10% within 75 miles.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS with ability to acquire SCI.
• 12 years of relevant experience.
• CCIE Collaboration (or ability to obtain) before start date.
• Experience with CUCM/UCCX/UCCE and call flow scripting.
• Strong networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, QoS, MPLS.
• Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% within 75 miles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize UC solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Lead architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers.
• Guide voice/video communications strategies and integration.
• Ensure security considerations across UC deployments.
• Troubleshoot and support day-to-day UC operations.
