Job summary

VEIR, a Woburn, MA‑based designer and manufacturer of superconducting power systems, seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager. You will own end-to-end product development, drive the PDP schedule, and ensure Exit Gate readiness, partnering across engineering, product management, supply chain, and operations to hit milestones.

Lead Technical Project Managers, manage complex trade-offs, and escalate when plans require credible recoveries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience in hardware product development.
• Deep working knowledge of a phase-gate product development process and gate readiness.
• Strong technical foundation for electrical, mechanical, thermal, and systems-level trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of product programs across PDP Phases 0–6 and ensure milestones.
• Manage integrated product development schedule with cross-functional dependencies.
• Own Exit Gate readiness and ensure deliverables meet requirements before progressing.
• Lead, coach, and develop Technical Project Managers and set planning rigor.
