Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Principal Test Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for test and evaluation across Connected Warfare's portfolio, including Eagle Eye and related systems. You will guide verification strategies, review cross-program test approaches, and mentor engineers to raise the bar on test rigor.

The role requires deep DoD test process knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50% for field and range activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• 10-14+ years in system-level test and evaluation of hardware/software systems, with 8+ years in technical leadership or test lead roles.
• Demonstrated technical depth across multiple CW-relevant systems (e.g., tactical C2, sensor/mission autonomy platforms).
• Experience across full test lifecycle: requirements, HITL lab integration, developmental/operational tests, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority on test strategy across CW applications.
• Review and strengthen verification strategies to scale across software-enabled hardware and pure software systems.
• Identify cross-program reuse opportunities for test infrastructure and tooling.
• Mentor Staff and Lead Test Engineers, review plans and reporting, unblock hard problems.
