Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering to lead a multi-disciplinary team of about 16 engineers across firmware, hardware, software, electrical, and data acquisition. Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in test or manufacturing engineering with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across hardware/software/firmware.
• Strong production test system design for electronics and mechatronics.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (LabVIEW/TestStand/Python).
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority.
• Understanding product lifecycle test strategies and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent communication across technician to executive levels.
• Budget, equipment, and vendor management experience.
• Hands-on test development, debugging, or troubleshooting; technical credibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of ~16 manufacturing test engineers across multiple disciplines.
• Own the manufacturing test strategy from board-level to full system acceptance testing.
• Develop and deploy production test systems, fixtures, and automation to meet throughput and quality goals.
• Collaborate daily with design engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain.
• Influence testability requirements early in development cycles.
• Establish and maintain test standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Drive test automation to increase throughput and coverage.
• Manage test equipment roadmap and lifecycle across sites.
• Build robust data acquisition/analysis capabilities for data-driven decisions.
• Support transfer of test capability to new production sites.
• Foster technical excellence and accountability within the team.
• Manage budgets and forecast test engineering needs.
• Serve as escalation point for complex failures and cross-functional resolution.
• Travel to production sites/suppliers as needed (<10%).
