Our client is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to lead strategic initiatives that enhance test methodologies and manufacturing performance in the semiconductor domain. This is a senior-level opportunity for a technically adept and forward-thinking professional with a strong command of data-driven process optimization and a deep understanding of product testing in high-tech environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the creation and refinement of test strategies that leverage data analytics and AI to drive product yield, quality, and test efficiency improvements.
• Lead the development and prototyping of online and offline test data systems in collaboration with IT and technical experts.
• Oversee the implementation of standardized test processes and ensure their consistent application across manufacturing locations.
• Own and manage business applications related to product and process test optimization, including technical roadmapping and requirement gathering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues in both product and process domains.
• Align test engineering methods with enterprise-wide quality standards and governance protocols.
• Drive analytics and data science initiatives that support broader productivity and quality enhancement goals.

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in semiconductor testing or product engineering.
• Strong knowledge of test optimization methods and test program structures.
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Familiar with AI/data science applications in testing.
• Experience with process improvement (e.g., 8D, Lean Six Sigma).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
