Lead Network Engineer/ Wi-fi, Wireless testing
We are seeking a Lead Network Engineer/ Architect with extensive experience in Wi-fi and Wireless testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to drive process improvements, optimize operations, and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Prior experience with Wi-Fi performance testing is required
- Very good understanding of 802.11ac/ax protocols is a MUST
- Ability to write automation scripts via python is highly desired
- Familiarity with Octoscope or Veriwave test equipment
- Good knowledge of RF concepts: splitters, attenuators, antennas, RF shielded boxes
- Familiarity with lab test equipment: Spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes
- Good knowledge of TCP-IP, and L2 networking / switches, wireshark debugging tools
- Good knowledge of device management protocols like TR-069
- Ability to write shell scripts to validate CPE (TR-069 routers) on the network
- Ability to customize scripts and run experiments per vendor; ports, Wi-Fi radios, SSID packets, etc.
- Prior experience with debugging tools, and root-cause analysis
- The candidate must have good problem solving skills
- The candidate will generate TPut/KPI/other performance metrics and compile test reports to support presentations
- Demonstrated ability with Python and Spark within data-intensive environments
- Eager to learn and apply new technologies in data visualization and automation
Requirements:
- Expertise in PPP, Ethernet 802.2, Ethernet 802.3, Ethernet II
- Good knowledge of Python
- Experienced in Wi-Fi and Wireless Networks, Wireshark
- Solid background in database engineering and software development
- Understanding of wireless protocols like 4G/5G is a plus

This role offers a salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, based on experience and other factors. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. This position is for remote work in New York City only.
