The Select Group is looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer for one of their top telecommunication clients. This is going to be a long-term contract on a fully remote basis. We are looking for someone with telecommunications expertise to lead the test automation initiative for RAN and O-RAN. 500 test cases will be automated mostly through Python.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years of software development/test automation experience with 4 years in telecommunications
• Expert-level Python programming skills with experience building frameworks from scratch
• Hands-on experience with 4G/5G
• Deep understanding of O-RAN
• Prior experience integrating with telecom test equipment (Keysight, VIAVI preferred)
• Experience with Version control systems (GIT), CI/CD, testing frameworks
