Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks a Principal to lead strategic engagements for technology, media, and private equity clients in North America. You will manage client relationships, drive complex programs, and deliver high-impact growth and value creation initiatives across the deal lifecycle.

You will mentor teams, contribute to thought leadership, and help build the firm’s practice while traveling as needed. The role demands 7+ years in strategy consulting with Private Capital experience and a proven track

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting and/or CMT/TMT industry experience + Private Capital experience
• Commercial Due Diligence expertise
• Strong background in conceptual problem solving and analytical skills
• Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Outstanding communication skills; confidence in presenting to senior executives
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
• Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the time)

Responsibilities

• Providing day to day leadership of client projects and relationships, teaming with Partners and sharing responsibility for engagement success
• Leading and managing complex programs to ensure on-time delivery leveraging best practice
• Guiding and influencing clients across situations, becoming trusted advisors
• Engaging in business development by identifying new and expanded opportunities
• Creating intellectual capital through thought leadership across topics
• Developing others and building followership for the firm
• Leading firm-building activities and maintaining a strong personal brand within the firm
