Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD, seeks a technically skilled engineer to monitor satellite telemetry, run tests, and develop data analysis scripts. You will contribute to the full space design lifecycle under ER-SEIT, from sensors to orbit operations.

Applicants should hold a BS/MS in STEM with 2+ or 5 years of related experience, and possess DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access. Proficiency in MATLAB or Python is required, with occasional shift work expected.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2+ years aerospace or defense experience.
• MS degree with relevant experience may substitute.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze satellite telemetry during on-shift operations.
• Test systems with on-orbit payloads and lab assets.
• Develop scripts to analyze payload data for debugging and performance evaluation.
• Create software tools for trending, testing, analysis, and workflow.
• Help adjudicate discrepancy reports and resolve anomalies.
