Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, based in Roy, Utah, seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to lead interface artifact development for the GBSD AVE within ICDs and drive requirement decomposition aligned with performance budgets.

You will coordinate with IPTs, MBSE counterparts, and DOORS/Cameo artifacts to ensure integrated design and verification readiness, including PDR/CDR planning and cross-functional collaboration across the missile program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD.
• US Citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• 2+ years performing requirements and verification work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of interface artifacts for the GBSD AVE within ICDs.
• Lead requirement decomposition and refinement in performance specifications.
• Coordinate with IPT POCs to review designs across disciplines and drive interface working groups.
