deciBel Research, Inc. is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the IDT product team on the GWS program. The role requires leading systems engineering activities, MBSE, and agile processes within a DoD context.

You will work on requirements decomposition, system design, and test across interfaces, with an emphasis on delivering high-assurance solutions. The ideal candidate has DoD systems engineering experience, strong knowledge of SysML, Cameo, and DOORS, and the

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years experience or Master's in STEM with 1+ year experience.
• Strong experience with MSOSA (Cameo) and DOORS for system-level behaviors and interface definitions.
• Experience analyzing electrical schematics, ICDs, circuit diagrams, and FPGA logic.
• Background in architecture development, functional decomposition, requirements development and allocation, and interface definition using SysML.
• Experience developing test plans and verification plans, and tracking verification status.
• Strong MBSE background and use of SysML for complex DoD systems.
• Experience mentoring in a team environment and working in Agile development.
• Experience interfacing with external customers and managing subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
