Job summary

deciBel Research, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the Ground Weapons System program on the Ground Fire Control product as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering Team.

The role requires a STEM degree (Bachelor's preferred), 2 years of related experience (or a Master's with 0 years, or 6 years in lieu of a degree), and proficiency with MBSE, DOORS, and Cameo. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university.
• 2 years of related experience; or Master's degree with 0 years; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Solid understanding of system engineering processes and principles; proven ability to apply them to product solutions.
• Experience with DOORS, Cameo, and MBSE.
• Strong communication skills; ability to think critically and work both independently and in teams.
• Experience with software development and verification of requirements.
• Experience with the MDA GMD program; Battle Management or Fire Control experience.
• MBSE or INCOSE Certifications.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret security clearance.

The selected Systems Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related experience , or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
